Ucinnost dnes bezne pouzivanych panelov (polykrystal) je okolo 16%. To je zhruba 160Wp na m2. Cena sa pohybuje okolo 0,5-0,6 Eur/Wp bez DPH. Zjednodusene povedane za panel o vykone 290Wp (zhruba rozmer 2x1m) zaplatis 290x0,55=160Eur bez DPH.
